An update

Hey y’all, just wanted to take a moment and inform people about the status of my work.

To put it bluntly, I’m burnt out. Some time in June I finished reviewing the notes from my editor and incorporated her corrections and suggestions. The process was lengthy to say the least, and now that I’m finished with that penultimate step I find myself out of motivation with the finish line in sight. Again, I apologize to the few people who were waiting for the second chapter, but my disillusionment had made it difficult to read my own work without dread and apprehension.

So, I’ve decided to put Epicenter aside for a while and try to rekindle my interest in writing. I’m playing around with some short stories to explore the ideas in my head. I’ll post the short stories here on my site if there is any interest, otherwise I’ll keep them to myself.
